Shasta was looking for a way to improve their cause marketing efforts and at the same time be able to make a contribution to St. Jude's and The City of Hope.
The Inspiration:
Leveraging the classic Santa image and taking it to the next level, the team created a proprietary holiday cola, "St. Nick's", along with an accompanying holiday promotion.
Always keeping the consumer and trade audiences in mind, the promotion was supported through newspaper, end-aisle displays, and trade incentives.
The key was tying holiday sales to a fundraiser for St. Jude's and The City of Hope.
The Results:
Not only did it visually associate our client with the positive image of the #1 brand in the category but it also resulted in significant, positive PR.
The sincerest form of flattery and sign of success is that
this promotion has been repeated year after year.
